In-School CAL Resumes in Honduras

Students have been welcomed back into CPI's schools in Honduras for the first time since they were closed in March, 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, some restrictions are still in place: the schools are open only three days a week for three hours a day, students do not share computers, a recess time has been eliminated, and the students are required to practice social distancing.

During the time the school buildings were closed, staff found innovative ways of continuing the education program (see the post on August 22, 2020). Their efforts were rewarded as 691 students graduated from one of Grades 7 - 9 in 2021.
